UOW Malaysia KDU has been voted as one of the Employers’ Preferred Universities!

Talentbank has recently conducted a survey on the preferred recruitment choices of the leading graduate employers (Microsoft, Shopee, IBM, Top Glove, Shell, Petronas, Nippon Paint, Motorola, Hartalega, and many others) in Malaysia. The survey gauges the employability rate of graduates from universities all across Malaysia. We have chosen to showcase our survey results by highlighting Malaysian Universities that have produced the most highly sought-after graduates.

In view of this, UOW Malaysia KDU has been awarded the following employability ratings, in the respective fields of study:

★ 5 Stars Employability Rating in Hospitality Management

The National Graduate Employability Index (GE Index) is a benchmark used to measure the employability of graduates of higher education establishments in Malaysia. The GE Index, which is calculated using quantitative research methodology, is based on votes cast by employers, on aspects of graduate employability. The responses received from the GE Index research have shed light on some key questions, such as each employer’s opinion on their preferred universities, the number of graduates hired from these universities, and if the employers will continue to hire graduates from the same universities they had previously chosen.

The aim of the GE Index is to give due recognition to higher educational institutions across Malaysia and to serve as a guide to school leavers and parents who are considering university options and wish to keep employability in mind.
