Li Jing is a highly accomplished and passionate lecturer, having an extensive experience of 10 years in cybersecurity education. He graduated with a BSc in Computing & Information Systems and MSc in Computer Network Security. Prior joining UOW Malaysia, he was a certified Workforce Skills Qualifications (WSQ) trainer in Singapore for government agencies, financial institutions, telco, and oil & gas sectors.

He was appointed to lead the implementation of undergrad and postgrad cybersecurity program. He is active in cybersecurity wargames and has mentored students for several national level competitions. Within two years of attachment with UOW Malaysia, he and his students managed to qualify themselves into EY Asia-Pacific Cyber Challenge finals in Hong Kong. His current research areas cover Machine Learning in Advanced Persistent Threat (APT) and Game Based Learning (GBL) for cybersecurity education.

He is now pursuing PhD in Game Base Learning at University Pendidikan Sultan Idris (UPSI).
