Dr Law Foong Li is a Senior Lecturer of UOW Malaysia KDU University College. She has completed her PhD in Computer Science in Software Engineering with Requirements Engineering Specialization at University of Malaya in the year 2019. She actively mentors competition teams and supervises students in Bachelor and Master Degree. Her research interests including the requirements engineering, empirical software engineering, and human factors in software engineering, Internet of Things (IoT) and artificial intelligence in software engineering, gamification and data science.

Her research project, EzSense is an Internet of Things (IoT) aquaponics with data analytics system has won the below awards:

  1. MSC Malaysia APICTA 2018 Award – Winner (Student: Tertiary Student)
  2. International APICTA 2018 at Guangzhou China – 26 Finalists (Student: Tertiary Student)
  3. International ICT Innovative Services Awards 2018 at Taipei Taiwan – 3rd Prize under Asia Pacific – English category
She was invited as an observer in The Massachusetts Institute of Technology Global Startup Labs (MIT GSL) Malaysia 2014 by MDeC.
