UOW Malaysia KDU offers dual award programs with the University of Wollongong, Australia. Study a bachelor program and receive two degrees certificates – one from UOW Australia and one from UOW Malaysia KDU. Our dual award programs are your passport to a world of career opportunities.

Academics from both institutions work together to quality assure the programs to ensure the curriculum and teaching delivery meet the high standards required in Malaysia and Australia. Students will receive academic transcripts from both UOW Malaysia KDU and the University of Wollongong, Australia upon completion of their degree.

Complete a 3 year Bachelor degree at UOW Malaysia KDU and graduate with two degree certificates – 1 from UOW Malaysia KDU and 1 from UOW Australia.

1.5 years Bachelor Degree in UOW Malaysia KDU + 1.5 years Bachelor Degree in UOW Australia.

Students can commence their program at UOW’s campus network within Malaysia, UOW Malaysia KDU, before proceeding to complete their selected bachelor program in Wollongong Australia, just 80km from Sydney.

Dual award degrees provide students with the opportunity to gain academic qualifications from both these higher learning institutions without extending their duration of study. Upon successful completion of their program, students gain an Australian degree award from the University of Wollongong which is internationally recognised and a bachelor degree award from UOW Malaysia KDU. In fact, UOW is ranked in the top 1% among the world’s universities.

These programs are delivered at our Glenmarie and Batu Kawan campuses and are quality assured by the University of Wollongong Australia.

Choose to study abroad with UOW Malaysia KDU’s Dual Award Program

UOW Malaysia KDU’s dual award undergraduate programs give students the option to pursue a period of study at the University of Wollongong, Australia after completing a 1.5 years at either our Glenmarie or Batu Kawan campuses.

If you choose to take advantage of the opportunity to study abroad, Australia is one of the best and most exciting places to live and study. The Wollongong campus is set in native Australian bush and has extensive teaching and research facilities. Also on campus are student residences, a library, conference facilities, food halls, 7 coffee shops, over 16 food outlets, supermarkets, retail outlets, banks, a gymnasium, indoor sports centre and an Olympic size swimming pool.

If you do choose the dual award pathway, you can apply for a 25% offshore transfer tuition discount. Merit scholarships of up to 30% of tuition fees are also available for UOW Malaysia KDU students who qualify.
