As for welcome dinner, they been served at The Love House, Kuala Lumpur together with a colourful performance of dances of the various cultures in Malaysia.

“I loved it! The performance and cultural dances are a joy to watch. The fact that I could eat while enjoying the performance is why I loved this. “, Keeley.

During the KL City Tour, students were brought around the city to a few of the main attractions like the National Museum, Central Market, KL City Gallery and Petronas Twin Towers.

”I think I enjoy the Central Market a little bit too much. Lots of artistic cool stuff that I have gotten for my friends back in Australia.” – Caitlyn

During their six-weeks of stay in Malaysia, they also had the chance to share some ideas on fundraising for the bush-fire incident that was happening back in Australia. A group of them worked together to do up some friendship bands which was then being sold to the students and community of UOW Malaysia KDU.

“I certainly would recommend this to those who are looking to get out of their comfort zone. This culturation mobility programme has opened a door of opportunities for me and I’m truly thankful for that.” – David
