Resident from Middle East, Asia and China received their cookies during Hari Raya Aidilfitri Cookies Distribution

Student and Alumni Centre (SAC) of UOW Malaysia KDU has embarked on an initiative to enhance international students experience for Hari Raya Aidilfitri celebration in Malaysia. A special event to distribute Raya cookies was planned earlier by the Student and Alumni Centre to all students who stayed at UOW Malaysia KDU Accommodation during this Raya festivals. It was organised on the 24^th May 2020, was the first day of Hari Raya Aidilfitri.

This initiative was to share the happiness and joy together with all the accommodation students who were stayed at the UOW Malaysia KDU Accommodation and unable to go back to their hometown during the Hari Raya Aidilfitri celebration.

Also, this distribution raya cookies initiatives has made the residents feel home even though they are thousand miles away from their home. Students was excited to have the cookies given by the Student and Alumni Centre and this initiative has make the better relationship among the residents. “I am happy to stay in accommodation as the staff really care about the residents”. – Subra Dass, International student from Bangladesh.
