The Fruits Of Their Labours, The Rewards Of Their Efforts

George Town, 12 Oct 2018 –  Few things yield more satisfying bragging rights than making it into the Dean’s List at UOW Malaysia KDU Penang University College (UOW Malaysia KDU Penang).

UOW Malaysia KDU Penang Deputy Vice-Chancellor Associate Professor Dr Brian Imrie stated that among a large number of universities and colleges, none has as many prestigious awards as UOW Malaysia KDU Penang.

“We should respect and congratulate students’ hard work and achievements when they make it into the Dean’s List by getting a Grade Point Average of 3.8 and above in certain semester,” said Dr. Imrie.

About 50 students from all departments of UOW Malaysia KDU Penang made it into the Dean’s List this semester. Beh Jia Hui, a student pursuing Bachelor of Arts in Media Production, has gotten her name in the Dean’s List multiple times since she did her diploma in Mass Communication here in UOW Malaysia KDU Penang.

“Getting into the Dean’s List is an achievement and it feels satisfying after all that hard work pays off,” said Jia Hui. She added that experienced lecturers and adequate facilities are the reasons for her to choose UOW Malaysia KDU Penang to further her studies.

Bachelor of Arts in Interior Architecture student Ondera Shiori also expressed immense satisfaction at being in the Dean’s List.

“I feel like my sleepless nights had paid off. I thanked my lecturers who are helpful, approachable and motivate me to keep trying to give my best in every semester,” said Ondera.
This is Ondera’s second time consecutively being in the Dean’s List this year.

The holistic education and high-impact learning method will be continued after UOW Malaysia KDU Penang opens its flagship campus in Metropolis Batu Kawan by 2020. For more information, call 04-2386368 or visit www.kdupg.edu.my.
