Dear students,

We are pleased to advise that, in accordance with Ministry of Higher Education guidelines, UOW Malaysia KDU is now working towards a staged re-opening of campuses from July 2020.  While the safety of the campus community remains our priority, we are aware that students have been eagerly awaiting the re-opening of campus facilities and have responded accordingly.

Phased Re-Opening

A phased approach will be undertaken to re-opening access to campus facilities with new, and selected existing students, being welcomed onto campus to experience face-to-face classes and/or access to campus facilities at our Glenmarie and George Town campuses from the 1 July 2020. We will continue to offer our existing range of online courses to supplement delivery of our of experiential learning/laboratory campus-based classes.  Students will also have access to computer laboratories, library, and the wi-fi network to access online classes.  Academic departments will shortly be in contact with students on the class schedule that will be implemented from July 2020

Social-Distancing Standard Operating Procedures

All campuses will adhere to strict social-distancing standard operating procedures to ensure the wellbeing of all members of the campus community. Students are advised to familiarise themselves with the procedures which are detailed at the end of this message. As always maintaining good personal hygiene through regular hand washing and use of hand sanitiser is of paramount importance. It is mandatory to wear a mask on campus and you are requested to cooperate with the instructions of staff when registering on entering campus and in maintaining a safe social distance. We are here to help ensure you remain safe and enjoy your campus experience.

Operating Hours

Commencing the 1 July 2020 students will be able to access the Glenmarie and George Town campuses for selected classes, and to utilize facilities in support of their learning. The Batu Kawan and Damansara Jaya campuses will remain closed until advised, however students are welcome to use the facilities on other campuses. The opening hours will be as follows:
