The Japanese Zakka phenomenon has taken the Malaysian culture by storm. In line with the recent rise of art bazaars, “Zakka Workshops – Everyone Is A Designer”, initiated by Pouline Koh, a communication and creative arts lecturer at UOW Malaysia KDU School of Communication and Creative Arts, steps up to turn arts, hobbies, skills and interests into an ever possible entrepreneurship. This first workshop was a collaboration with Little Syam, who is well-known for her exclusive skills in book stitching.
